What does the engagement look like?

Between Feb 1st and March 31st, Proof Analytics is giving you the opportunity to analyze your sales- and marketing data. For this to happen, you need to be able to upload relevant sales- and marketing data variables into our product called Proof BusinessGPS for Marketing & Sales.

These 5 steps would need to be completed by your Business Analyst, who will also function as your Proof BusinessGPS administrator.

We will provide you with detailed instructions and guidance to complete this at your own pace.

Connect to Supermetrics and collect your data variables

Connect Supermetrics data to your Proof BusinessGPS instance

What data variables do I need?

The accuracy of the report is dependent on two main factors. The type of data used and the number of observations used to create the regression model. Below is a list of suggested data variables most suitable to answer the business question i.e. ”What drives sales in 2021?”. To achieve sufficient accuracy, we recommend following the well-established ”rule-of-ten”.

This means that the number of observations should be at least 10x that of the number of data variables. In other words, if you select five (5) data variables, the number of observations within an individual variable should be fifty (50). For each data variable you need to ensure the same time frequency (e.g. daily, weekly or monthly)
